Terms and conditions for Stationery orders
Designs are copyright of Carrigan Creates. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you, or a third party, cannot copy or reproduce designs in any part or way. This also applies to samples ordered.
Ordering and Payment
When placing your order, the full payment is required before work can begin on the wedding stationery. The payment can be paid for by card, PayPal, cheque or bank transfer. If you are paying by cheque, please make it payable to ‘H M Carrigan’
It is best to order your Invitations between 6 and 9 months of your wedding date, if orders are needed quicker than this time span please ask, we will try and do this for you. We also recommend that you order a few extra invitations to allow for any handwriting errors or extra guests.
When an order is received, further details will then be requested, a proof will then be prepared with your chosen wording and colour. This will need to be checked and signed off prior to proceeding to the next stage of the order. We will not begin your order or go to print without you approving the design, layout and proofreading the text. Please check your proofs very carefully before confirming that you would like to proceed with an order as Carrigan Creates cannot be held responsible for any mistakes that are discovered afterwards.
Additional changes after production of two sets of proofs will be charged for. Changes made once the proofs have been signed off may be subject to additional charges. Changes must be made by email or post and will not be accepted by telephone.
Please allow 4 weeks from the approval of the proof for the order to be completed. If you have a tight timescale, please contact us to see if we can fit your order into our schedule. Ideally, we would recommend placing an order 3-4 months before you intend to send out your stationery. This gives time for any amendments, approvals and delivery times required.
Bespoke Orders with items not held in stock will require a £15 charge to cover additional stock purchased this will be deducted from a confirmed order.
Please note all quotations will be valid for 30 days and prices may change after this due to current suppliers increases. you will be advised of any changes before orders are placed. and orders already placed with deposits will be honoured up to a 10% allowance of difference in stock pricing.
Order of Service
Please send us the details for the Order of service at least 4 weeks before final delivery date. This can be posted or emailed to us exactly as you would like it to appear on the insert. The standard insert for an Order of Service would have three sides, with the Bride & Groom's names, church name and date of the Wedding on the first page and the service details on the next two pages. Please be aware if we do not receive this information in time then we cannot guarantee your Order of Service to be completed in time for final delivery.
Menu
Please send details of your menu at least 4 weeks before the final delivery date. again, you can email or post the full wording to us exactly as you would like it to appear on the insert. The standard insert for a Menu would have three sides, with the Wedding details on the first page and the Menu details on the next two pages. Please be aware if we do not receive this information in time then we cannot guarantee your Menu to be completed in time for final delivery.
Delivery
Your final delivery date is to be agreed at time of ordering. Your stationary will be sent by special delivery which will require a signature. Once dispatched Carrigan Creates cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged goods which are in transit all items will be well packaged by us before delivery to help prevent any damage from normal transit. On receipt, if you feel there are any discrepancies with your order, these must be notified within 24 hours of receipt. Once the order is complete you will be notified.
Delivery within mainland UK will be by Royal Mail for samples and larger orders will require a signature and will be delivered by courier. Delivery charges vary depending on the amount ordered. If you live locally orders can be collected by prior appointment.
Cancellation
In the unfortunate event that an order needs to be cancelled, the minimum payment we will require is 50% of the total order and depending on what stage the order is at, this could be more to cover materials purchased and production time. A refund will be processed accordingly, deductions will be based on the material costs and time incurred. Refunds and exchanges will be made if any item is found to be faulty or does not match your order.
We cannot be held responsible for damage which occurs when you post individual items to your guests. We will offer you advice regarding the safest method of posting should you wish.
Refunds can only be given or items replaced if you find the item to be faulty. Designs that feature small parts and decorations are not suitable for small children.
All items remain the property of Carrigan Creates until paid for in full.
Carrigan Creates reserves the right to remove any promotions or discounts without prior notice. Song lyrics and hymns maybe copyrighted. It is your responsibility to get permission for any copyright material, for example hymns or poems that are to feature in the stationery.
As all the stationary is handmade and therefore may differ slightly from card to card, this is not deemed as faulty. Any Foiled items may have some small spots of unfoiled areas this is the nature of hand foiled items compared to industrial foiling machines. These will only be replaced if a large flaw is noted. Some tiny, speckled areas are normal.
